Boardman Sand and Gravelis a family owned and operated business dedicated to delivering the highest quality truck and dog, body truck and tippers for hire.
First established in 1980 by Wendy and her late husband Lennie Boardman on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. The company has since grown into one of the most respected and experienced truck hire companies in South East Queensland.
With over 37 years experience in the plant hire industry, we have the knowledge and expertise to service any materials handling, truck hire, bulk haulage and materials carting project.
We personally manage every aspect of our business from onsite supervision and administration through to mechanical maintenance. Our operations manager, Jason Boardman personally handles the allocation of our fleet. He performs comprehensive inspections of loading and unloading areas to ensure safety and environmental requirements are always met. Jason is in constant contact with our customers to ensure all work is carried out on time and to your satisfaction.
At Boardman Sand and Gravel, we specialise material carting and bulk haulage. We have a complete fleet of trucks available for hire including truck and dog hire, body truck hire and tipper hire. We can service areas on the Sunshine Coast including Palmwoods, Nambour, Noosa, Caloundra, Cooroy, Yandina, Forest Glen, Caboolture, as well as Brisbane and everywhere in between. We can supply all quarry materials from crusher dust, bedding sands, screened top soil and more. We also have extensive experience in working for mining, oil and gas projects from South East Queensland through to Gladstone.
We have a team of permanent machine operators that subcontract to us and who have been working for us for several years. Our local machine operators are very reliable, safe, highly skilled and experienced members of the Boardman Sand and Gravel team.
We have a fleet of 10 Mack trucks. Here is a list of trucks that we have on offer:
- 2 x Mack Granite Trucks with live floor trailers offered on wet hire.
- 1 x Mack Semi Trailer Tipper on wet hire.
- 7 x Mack Truck and Dog Tipper available for wet hire.
Boardman Sand and Gravel has worked on many major projects on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. A few of our highlights include:
- Delivering sand for the construction of the Sunshine Coast Turf Club.
- SRWP Northern Pipeline Interconnector – Stage 1. This 2008 project included transporting over half a million cubic meters of material.
- Delivering sand for the construction of the Caloundra Racecourse.
- Delivering fill for the Harvey Norman site at Maroochydore.
- Delivering fill and gravel, as well as exporting spoil for the SWIP Water Pipeline.
We’re based in Palmwoods Queensland, however, we can undertake any project in the surrounding Sunshine Coast and Brisbane regions or we can travel when required.
